Juy Garland Film By Film sticker ABOUT THE DISC & RECORDINGS:

This French release is a strange combination of Judy's soundtrack performances, with tracks from the Rhino Records sountrack CDs (mixed down from stereo to mono!), MGM Records versions, the Columbia mono LP soundtrack to A Star Is Born, tracks taken directly from the film soundtracks, and even a few non-soundtrack studio versions Judy recorded as singles for Decca Records.

The set features a 35 page booklet generously illustrated, with text in both French and English (see below).

Although the set is presented in the "book" format with a generously illustrated booklet, the quality of the audio is very inferior to the aforemention Rhino Records editions and even the MGM Records versions. This is a set that only Garland CD completists would want. If you're looking for a great compilation of Judy's film soundtrack performances, the far superior 2017 "Soundtracks" 2-CD set is what you should get.
