Although this record features no Garland
vocals, we've added it here because it is a soundtrack to a Garland
film - one of her best. Judy was nominated for the Oscar for
Best Supporting Actress for her amazing portrayal of Irene Hoffman,
a small but pivotal role in the film. Sadly, she lost to Rita
Moreno in West Side Story.
Burt Lancaster and Spencer Tracy provide what the LP calls "narration"
which are clips of scenes from the film, making us wish that
the producers had gotten Judy to record some as well.
