ABOUT THE DISC & RECORDINGS:

Screen ShotThis rare short subject was released to commemorate and promote the Will Rogers Memorial Hospital. The short was unseen since its release, until this 1994 laser disc set. No actual pre-recording of Judy's song "If I Forget You" is known to exist. Even though this isn't a "soundtrack album" we've included it here to give continuity to our listing of all of Judy's film performances.

This laser set is still the only source for the bulk of prerecordings included. Rhino Records has released many of these prerecordings in their series of restored CD soundtracks of MGM's musicals but even those mostly include only the final versions as presented in the films, and not the multiple takes.
