This recent series from the British company Prism Leisure uses the M-G-M Records versions of the soundtracks, and in the case of the collection of Irving Berlin tracks on this CD, taken from the studio recordings made for the 78rpm records and albums of the day.

In the case of Easter Parade, all the songs included here are the M-G-M Records versions.

What makes this CD enjoyable is not just the collection of great Irving Berlin songs, but also the wonderful artwork on the CD booklet, the CD packaging, and the CD itself.
