ABOUT THE DISC & RECORDINGS:

Although this film was loaded with guest stars, Judy did not actually make an appearance. Rather, her song was used in the film for guest stars Shirley Jones and Dan Dailey to dance to. Recorded in April of 1960 the song went on to be nominated for the Academy Award (see image at right), but lost to "Never On Sunday" from the film of the same name.

The song first appeared on CD in 1992 on the bootleg issue "The Definitive Judy Garland". Out of print for years, the soundtrack album was finally released in 2000 on CD by Collector's Choice Music (#CCM-113-2) with the exact same cover art as the original album shown above.

Album image from the collection of Scott Brogan.
Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences (Oscars) 45rpm given to voters for their consideration (at right) from the collection of Eric Hemphill.
