An MGM Television Special ABOUT THE DISC & RECORDINGS:

This is the very rare "MGM Television Special" edition of the boxed set "Judy Garland The Golden Years at M-G-M". This was an "in house" edition, meaning that it was only available to those who worked for MGM. Only about 50 of these were made. The record labels (see below) were hand placed on the records, rather than being mass produced in a factory.

Almost everything is the same as the "Golden Years" set, including the accompanying 14 page booklet. The only differences from the set release to the general public are the box art - which is actually a yellow burlap type of cloth covering the cardboard box - and the "Judy" logo on booklet and the record labels (see images at right and below).
