ABOUT THE DISC & RECORDINGS:

Another excellent compilation from Rhino/TCM Movie Music. One's only wish is that this were a double CD set with even more performances, rather than one. Still, any compilation that features the best of Gene Kelly at M-G-M is always a great addition to any soundtrack collection.

A few notes: The listings in the booklet and on the back of the CD have "Nina" as track #3, whereas on the actual CD it's actually at #7, with "Almost Like Being In Love" at #3 and "Good Morning" at #6. We have listed the correct line-up below. "Nina" is also partial - the last part of the number (the big dance sequence) is not included. The complete version (partial stereo) is included on the 2002 Rhino soundtrack CD for the film. There are also a few typos in the recording dates and times that we have corrected here as well.
