THE DISC & RECORDINGS:
This
1960's bootleg is one of the best fakes we've ever
seen. It's made to look like a legitimate MGM
Records release, complete with the MGM Records logo, a detailed
write-up about the film as if it were actually completed (see
right) and even a label made to look like the MGM Records of
the 1950s (see below). Not bad for a bootleg! However, if you
notice on the liner notes at the right, Betty Hutton's name
is covered over by Judy Garland's as these are the same liner
notes from the legitimate MGM release of the soundtrack in
the early 1950's (click on the image at right to read the text).
