ABOUT THE DISC & RECORDINGS:

This 1993 release includes Judy's 1939 appeared on the CBS "Tune-Up Time" with Kay Thompson's Rhythm Singers.  Several years later Kay became an inegral part of the MGM "Freed Unit."  She and Judy became the best of friends (Kay was Liza's godmother) through the end of Judy life.  Kay was a huge influence on Judy's style on stage.
