Judy's Decca album of songs from The
Wizard of Oz was so popular that Decca decided to
put out ANOTHER Judy Garland album and called it "The Judy
Garland Souvenir Album".
This time they gathered a few of Judy's recent Decca recordings
and packaged them in a nice album with (oddly enough) two
10 inch 78 rpm records and one 12 inch 78 rpm record. This
made
the
album
slightly
larger than the normal (10 inch) albums of the day.
This album is the first ever compilation of Judy Garland
recordings.
