This is the 10" version of the Decca "Girl
Crazy Cast Album", even though by 1952 Decca decided to
call it "Selections From" Girl Crazy. It
stands to reason that Decca would release the songs from Girl
Crazy
in several formats. As previously noted, the combination
of Judy's voice and the Gershwin's songs is unbeatable.
Also in 1953, Decca released a "long playing" 45rpm
record of Judy's solos from the cast album, titled "Judy
Garland - Selections From Girl Crazy". The late 1940's
and early 1950's saw all the record companies putting out 78rpm,
45rpm, and 33 1/3 rpm versions of the same albums. Which means
that in some cases us collectors get to choose from a wide
variety of artwork.

Inc. included it as part of their 1979 release "Judy
Garland - The Beginning".
