ABOUT THE DISC & RECORDINGS:

A nice follow-up to Volume One, this CD features the premier release of "Falling In Love With Love" - a recording done as a sort of "afterthought" during Judy's final recording session for Decca on November 15, 1947. This CD also contains several alternate versions of well known Garland Decca recordings. The producers of this CD did a great job of featuring Judy's versatility with rarely heard songs. These songs also give us a chance to hear Judy's at the time period in her life when her style and voice were in a state of transition from the sweet voice we hear in her MGM musicals to the bold voice we hear later in her final MGM musicals and then on the concert stage.

This is supposedly out of print, although it's very easy to find and Amazon still has it listed. All of these songs can also be found on the 2011 CD boxed set "Smilin' Through - The Singles Collection - 1936-1947."
