This is the sequel to "The Stars in Stereo" released by Captiol Records in 1959. Oddly enough, that LP did not have any Garland songs. This one, released by Capitol's U.K. label, EMI Records Ltd., includes Judy's "I'm Confessin'" from the "Judy in Love" album.
The uncredited liner notes give a short paragraph on each listing: Judy, of course, brings warmth, magnetism, and brilliance to every song she sings. But in stereo, the Garland magic shines as never before. Here her full -bodied voice bursts out in all its glory. In this number, arranged and conducted by Nelson Riddle, a variety of instrumental sounds back Judy's voice: a solo saxophone, vibraphone, trombone choir, and strings.
There is also a disclaimer: * IMPORTANT THIS STEREO RECORD IS INTENDED FOR USE ONLY ON SPECIAL STEREOPHONIC REPRODUCERS which meant that only stereo record players with stereo needles could play this record.
